Ridgeville, SC – September 3, 2025 – Arcadia Cold proudly announces the grand opening of its Charleston Cold Storage facility, a state-of-the-art warehouse designed to meet the growing demands of the Southeast’s food supply chain. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at 1017 Arctic Lupine Drive in Ridgeville, SC, bringing together community leaders, industry partners, and Arcadia team members to mark the occasion.
The new 261,779-square-foot facility offers 35,000 pallet positions with a temperature range from –10°F to 38°F, providing flexible storage solutions for both frozen and refrigerated products as well as value-added blast freezing, USDA inspection, and Bonded Storage services. Strategically located near the Port of Charleston, one of the fastest-growing ports on the East Coast, the site delivers unmatched access to global trade lanes and regional distribution networks.

Attendees were invited to tour the advanced facility, which is equipped with a fully integrated warehouse management system (WMS) with real-time tracking and engineered for food safety, operational speed, and flexibility. The Charleston Cold Storage facility is expected to generate approximately 75 new jobs in the community.
