Which core value is most meaningful to you?

Transparency.  The Arcadia core value that really sticks out to me is transparency.  I have found throughout my career that when you are open and honest with customers and co-workers you create trust.  As a sales professional I want my customers to know instantly that I mean what I’m saying and my word is valuable.  I want my co-workers to believe in my ability and that I have the company’s best interest at my core. We grow together when the team believes in each other.

Where is Arcadia going?

Arcadia is the best of the past and the brightness of the future of the industry wrapped up in one.  We are getting back to basics in an industry where consolidation has overshadowed the importance of relationships. Our focus is the customer and the experience we provide.  The team at Arcadia is comprised of many industry veterans along with great leadership setting us up for the future.  Alongside our customer focus, our WMS systems and state of the art facilities assure our customers that we are prepared for their future growth.

How did you get started in the cold storage industry?

I was extremely blessed to get into this industry.  I believe it is what the Lord put me here to do.  Back in 2010, I did not fully grasp the importance of the industry or the inner workings of what it means to be a 3PL, but I sent my resume to an online posting for a sales manager position.  I was able to learn the industry from the ground up with training from amazing mentors. I’ve found that this industry is filled with people looking to share their experience. I found my calling in creating relationships and working side by side with some fantastic and very smart people.
